Freeze
Nobody moves. Not a finger. You move again when I say so. Not one second earlier.
What the square seesHundreds of people stop mid-step, all at once, and stay frozen for fifteen seconds. Then, on one word, they walk on as if nothing happened.
SYNC is a shared audio experience on a city square. Headphones on, phone in your pocket, and one narrator guides everyone at exactly the same moment.
Everyone opens the SYNC app and puts on headphones. Then the phone goes in the pocket, screen down.
Arthur, the narrator, talks the whole group through fifteen minutes of small, simple and slightly absurd instructions.
The square fills with a pattern nobody planned alone. And everyone without headphones wonders what they missed.

The funniest part is for the people who are not playing. They hear nothing, and see a square full of strangers doing the same thing at once.
Nobody moves. Not a finger. You move again when I say so. Not one second earlier.
What the square seesHundreds of people stop mid-step, all at once, and stay frozen for fifteen seconds. Then, on one word, they walk on as if nothing happened.
Did you see who froze with you? Those are your fellow players. Now you know who's in.
What players getThe freeze is the first reveal. Everyone who stopped at the same second is in on it, so strangers start to recognise each other.
Now, something nobody on this square expects. Sit down. Right where you are.
What the square seesA crowd sitting on the ground, on steps and on fountain edges, for half a minute. Then, all together, they stand up again.
Now, all together. Look up. At nothing in particular. Just the sky.
What the square seesHundreds of people staring at an empty sky. Within seconds, the people without headphones are looking up too. It works every time.
Freeze! Ha. Some of you were frozen before I even finished the word.
And thenArthur teases with a false release, hidden teams split off, and the story builds towards a finale where the whole square moves as one.
Best with headphones. The pauses are part of it: that is when the square goes quiet.
Halfway through, the group splits into four colours. Each one hears its own track, and nobody knows who else is on theirs.
Stops. Holds the line. The reason the square went quiet.
Keeps walking, past the statues, without laughing.
Looks up, and makes strangers check the sky for nothing.
Watches who reacts. Every story needs witnesses.

From the ticket to the last second, the phone keeps everyone on the same clock. Then it disappears into a pocket.

Every event has a number, a city and a countdown. Join with one tap.

The exact meeting point stays secret until three hours before.

All audio is downloaded in advance and tested, so it plays without signal.

Check in at the meeting point and watch the crowd fill up before the start.

A crowded square kills mobile data. The whole experience is on the phone before it starts.
The crew can pause or stop everyone at once, and a clear spoken instruction takes over.
Teams, departments or countries each get their own instructions inside the same moment.
Every player picks the language Arthur speaks. English and Dutch today, others on request, all in sync in one group.
Check-in compares your position with the meeting zone. Coordinates are not stored.
Two crowds start on two squares, with the same DJ set in their headphones. The DJ calls the moves. Then both crowds walk towards each other, and on the drop they become one big silent disco.

Departments get their own hidden track, find each other on the square and end as one crowd.

Add a Sync to your client's programme under your own name. One fixed price per person, the margin is yours.
Six minutes, hundreds of people breathing on the same clock, everyone opening their eyes at the same second.
Your own event in the app, opened with a code. Nobody else can find it or join.
Players scan a QR code on the square and join in the browser. Or use the app, if they already have it.

The brand on the event page, the ticket and the shared card. The event pays for itself, and the footage sells the next one.

Friday drinks with a twist. Only colleagues with the code can join.
Example formats, as they look in the demo app today.
Headphones on. No app, no account, just the demo.
For a company visiting Amsterdam, a Sync becomes the moment of the trip. Written around their story, in their language.

Departments start as separate signals and slowly lock into one network.

Each office its own colour, until they find out they were one pattern all along.

An opening that turns hundreds of strangers into one crowd before dinner.
